    A Christmas message for Cantabrians, from Christchurch Mayor Lianne Dalziel


    She hopes everyone has a safe and merry Christmas this year, and says she's been impressed by a giving spirit among people in the city.

    She says the Council is piled up with presents and donations for the City Mission's annual Christmas lunch - and it's heartening to see.
