    Despite a stark difference in form, the New Orleans Pelicans have beaten the Denver Nuggets in their NBA Christmas Day game


    The Pelicans, who entered with the same amount of wins as Denver losses, have run out 112-100 winners on the road.

    Pelicans wing Brandon Ingram scored a game-high 31 points.

    Elsewhere the Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers, Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers all grabbed wins.
