Hikers aren't the only thing lining a Central Otago walkway

Hikers aren't the only thing lining a Central Otago walkway

A local MP is calling for DOC to build a toilet at the Ben Lomond Saddle after reports human faeces and toilet paper are littering the once-picturesque track.

Hamish Walker says they need a toilet on the six to eight hour track and they need it there now.

He says he did it twice last week and every ten to fifteen meters he found toilet paper on the side of the track.
