    Former Silver Fern Marg Forsyth has enjoyed a chance to reflect and celebrate to end 2019


    Forsyth was named an officer of the New Zealander order of merit in the New Year Honours.

    The 64-test Silver Fern won two World Championships in 1979 and '87 before going on to netball administration roles.

    She's also serving a third term as a Hamilton city councillor.

    Forsyth says she enjoyed a reunion with the 1979 team in the middle of 2019.
