An increase to house prices nationwide is said to be nothing out of the ordinary

An increase to house prices nationwide is said to be nothing out of the ordinary

December's QV House Price Index shows the average house price increased four percent from last December - to 710 thousand dollars.

OneRoof's Ashley Church says that's in line with what's happening around New Zealand.

And he says that's likely because some parts of the country have done better than others.

In Auckland it'll set you back an average of one million and 47-thousand dollars for a house.
