Aaron Cruden has cleared up some of the rumours relating to a possible early return to the Chiefs

Aaron Cruden has cleared up some of the rumours relating to a possible early return to the Chiefs

The 31-year-old is on board for the upcoming Super Rugby season, but was being mentioned as a possible replacement for the 2019 campaign when first fives Tiaan Falcon and then Damian McKenzie were injured.

Cruden says speculation often occurs when there is a spate of injuries in one position.

Cruden says for now, he's focussed on the Chiefs, rather than a return to the All Blacks.
