    Police are investigating a death in South Auckland in the early hours of this morning


    Officers were called to a property on Calthorp Close, in Favona, about 3am.

    Authorities are now informing the victim's next of kin.

    A man was critically injured in a shooting on the same street last month - when police and emergency services were called after reports of multiple gunshots in the evening of December 4.
