    The Revenue Minister says he's asked officials to look at the tax issues around Mycoplasma bovis


    Federated Farmers says an unusual situation is causing some farmers who have culled stock, to be paying tax as if they've made a profit - when they clearly haven't.

    Stuart Nash says it's a technical issue and will need careful consideration.

    He says he'll respond to Federated Farmers once he receives advice from Inland Revenue about his options.
