he 40-year-old man returned to New Zealand last night after spending a year in the United Kingdom and was met by Customs officers.

He's appeared in the Manukau District Court this afternoon charged with importing and possessing objectionable publications.

The man came to Customs attention late last year, after a tip off from overseas authorities.

Investigations are ongoing and further charges have not been ruled out.
