Jaime Nielsen's return and shock axing of Dylan Kennett headline NZ cycling team for World Champs

The return of Jaime Nielsen and the shock axing of Dylan Kennett headline the New Zealand track cycling team for next month's World Championships in Berlin

Nielsen will make her first worlds appearance since 2017 in the women's endurance squad, pushing for a spot in the team pursuit.

Kennett - a Rio Olympian - has been dumped from the men's squad.

CNZ high performance director Martin Barras is excited to welcome back Nielsen.

Olympic rankings points are on offer at the worlds.
