Netflix is dragging in huge numbers of new subscribers across the world....but growth in the US is a weak spot

It's posted an increase of 8.3 million subscribers in overseas markets, and now has 167 million subscribers world-wide.

60 million of those are in America.

The competition is heating up in the US, with Disney going live in November and signing up 10 million users in a day.

Apple TV offers a deal for 5 US dollars a month...less than half the Netflix fee but with a relatively small offering of original shows.
