Hagley Oval will host the final of next year's Women's Cricket World Cup under its new floodlights

Hagley Oval will host the final of next year's Women's Cricket World Cup under its new floodlights

The Christchurch ground will have six light towers installed in time for the tournament, after approval was granted by the local council last month.

Tournament CEO Andrea Nelson believes Hagley Oval is a worthy choice to host the big dance, now lights are on the way.

Hamilton and Mount Maunganui will host semi-finals, while Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin will also stage games.
