    Novak Djokovic has overcome Roger Federer in straight sets to advance to an eighth Australian Tennis Open final


    The result was convincing for the defending champion in the end, but not so midway through the first set.



    The first set went for more than an hour into a tiebreaker - the rest of the match took another 76 minutes.

    Djokovic meets the winner of tonight's Alexander Zverev-Dominic Thiem match.

    Sofia Kenin and Garbine Muguruza meet in the women's final.
