An angry outburst as a man who killed a stranger on the street was today sentenced to a minimum of ten years jail

Warren Leonard Pay was sentenced at the High Court in Wellington today for the murder of 29 year old Faapaia Fonoilaepa.
A summary of facts states Pay was wearing a chain link vest and and carrying a homemade gun and a butcher's knife when he challenged Fonoilaepa on a Taita street.
During an ensuing altercation, Pay stabbed Fonoilaepa in the chest.
As the judge read the facts, Pay interrupted, saying it was lies and he was being framed.
A psychiatric report notes Pay's use of methamphetamine, and a lack of impulse control .
