The Breakers will take a strategic approach in planning their next pre-season, with senior players unwilling to sacrifice their Australian NBL preparation for overseas experience

The Breakers will take a strategic approach in planning their next pre-season, with senior players unwilling to sacrifice their Australian NBL preparation for overseas experience

The Auckland-based franchise has played NBA opponents in the United States the past two years, as part of the NBL's annual pre-season series with the American league.

However, Breakers owner Matt Walsh says the future of such trips could change, with players concerned over the extended time spent travelling.
