Curtis Scott's chances of playing for the Canberra Raiders in round one of league's NRL have received a boost after getting permission to show the NRL footage from his Australia Day arrest

There were concerns Scott would fail to deliver police bodycam footage from his arrest by close of business yesterday, and subsequently be stood down.
NRL boss Todd Greenberg will view the footage, before using his discretionary powers to decide whether to sideline Scott under the no-fault stand-down policy.
