    Drastically different weather will affect opposite ends of the country this weekend


    The North and Upper South Island preparing for the extreme dry weather to continue, with Auckland heading for its longest ever dry spell.

    Meanwhile heavy rain warnings are in place in part of the lower South Island, as the effects of former tropical cyclone UESI forecasted to arrive tomorrow afternoon.
