Items of interest have been found in the search for missing tramper, Stephanie Simpson

The Brit was reported missing on Monday, after she failed to return from a hike in Mt Aspiring National Park last weekend.

The search area has been narrowed down thanks to the things found.

Search teams will now focus on the Pyke Creek area which consists of extremely challenging terrain.

Currently looking are Land Search and Rescue, two dog teams, Alpine Cliff Rescue staff and a canyon search and rescue team.
