    Police are yet to formally identify the man who was shot and killed by an officer in Tauranga


    A post mortem is expected to be carried out today.

    State Highway Two southbound between Waihi Road off-ramp and the Takitimu Drive on-ramp in Tauranga has reopened.

    However, the southbound SH2 link road to the City Centre and Mt Maunganui is still closed for forensic work.
