Wellington police are on the lookout for a wanted man believed to be armed and dangerous

Wellington police are on the lookout for a wanted man believed to be armed and dangerous

Police started seeking 32-year-old James Maurirere, who has a parole recall warrant, on Friday.

He's believed to have access to weapons, and has connections throughout the lower North Island.

Maurirere remains at large after a weekend of searching.

Police say he's extremely dangerous, and shouldn't be approached.
