    A jail term for a man who sent 80 images of child sexual abuse and tried to blackmail people


    Earl Gary Chatterton he was sentenced to four years and nine months in prison yesterday at the Manukau District Court.

    He'd pleaded guilty to 26 charges of distribution and possession of child sexual abuse imagery and one charge of blackmail.

    Detective Senior Sergeant Eddie Sutherland says the sentence shows this abhorrent offending will not be tolerated.
