Micah Wilkinson just wants to go fast, no matter the vessel

Micah Wilkinson just wants to go fast, no matter the vessel

Nine months after teaming up, Wilkinson and Erica Dawson have been named as the New Zealand representatives for the Nacra17 at the Tokyo Olympics.

Wilkinson, a self-confessed petrol head, raced go-karts at high school, before returning to sailing.

Olympic champions Peter Burling and Blair Tuke headline the team in the 49er, Alex Maloney and Molly Meech are in the 49er FX and Sam Meech has been picked in the Laser.

Andy Maloney and Josh Junior are still vying for the Finn spot.
