    The handing out of the green jacket this year has been delayed by the coronavirus, with golf's Masters postponed for the first time since World War Two


    It was due to begin on April 10th, with no rescheduled date confirmed yet.



    The Formula One season has been pushed back until at least May.

    With the Australian Grand Prix already cancelled, and the Chinese event postponed, the Bahrain and Vietnam races have also been suspended.



    The New Zealand basketball league has made it mandatory for all players and team management who are arriving from overseas to self-isolate for 14 days.

    More than 50 of the players across both the men's and women's leagues are arriving from overseas in the coming week.



    This weekend's Six Nations rugby match between Wales and Scotland in Cardiff has been postponed.



    The Giro d'Italia has become the biggest cycling race delayed by the outbreak so far.

    It was scheduled to start in Hungary in May but the country has declared a state of emergency.

    A rescheduled date hasn't been confirmed.



    England's two test cricket series in Sri Lanka has been postponed, while the start of the Indian Premier League season has been delayed until at least April 15th.



    The AFL's announced it will begin its season next week as scheduled, but no spectators will be permitted to attend matches for the foreseeable future.



    The Olympic torch relay tour around Greece has been cancelled, and while the flame will be handed over to Tokyo 2020 officials as planned next week, the public won't be allowed entry to the ceremony.
