Four people have been arrested and firearms, cash and drugs seized at a Blockhouse Bay property in Auckland

Around 9:30 last night, officers conducted a routine check of a Dundee Place property.

Upon their arrival a 35-year-old man discharged a blank round from a pistol before fleeing police.

He was later arrested, and found in possession of methamphetamine and 10-thousand dollars in cash.

He is due to appear in the Auckland District Court on a number of charges next month.

Meanwhile, another three men, who are known gang members and associates, have appeared on drug-related charges.
