Taranaki Police have restrained 90-thousand dollars in property connected to the trade of illicit drugs

Taranaki Police have restrained 90-thousand dollars in property connected to the trade of illicit drugs

It stems from an operation last September in which thousands of dollars worth of methamphetamine were recovered.

A 32-year-old man's been arrested in New Plymouth and charged with possession for supply - and other drug-related charges.

Police have now found the man had made a clear profit from his criminal activity...and have restrained cash and assets linked to him, including a late model vehicle.

Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Alex Macdonald says even in the current unique environment, Police will continue to target criminals involved in crime, including the sale of drugs.
