The arms race continues between the AFL and NRL as to who can return to the field the fastest in the bid for post-coronavirus eyeballs on television screens

The arms race continues between the AFL and NRL as to who can return to the field the fastest in the bid for post-coronavirus eyeballs on television screens

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

Australian Rules officials are considering a plan to restart the season in four hubs based in Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania.

The competition, which has reduced its regular season to 17 rounds, is suspended at least until May 31.

The NRL are also exploring similar options, which include the possibility of playing the season out of an isolated location.

Warriors playmaker Blake Green's told Fox Sports if that's the case he'd have one condition around his family he'd like to clear up.
