David Clark's giving an assurance to New Zealanders he will focus on his role as Health Minister

David Clark's giving an assurance to New Zealanders he will focus on his role as Health Minister

He's been stripped of his role as Associate Finance Minister, but remains in charge of Health.

Clark's also been demoted to the bottom of the cabinet rankings.

It comes after he admitted to the Prime Minister last night that he'd driven his family 20 kilometres to a beach to go for a walk in the first weekend of the lockdown.

David Clark says he has a long way to go to regain trust of New Zealanders.
