A strange, but exciting future for Sam Webster and Ethan Mitchell

For the first time in a nearly a decade they will be without longtime teammate Eddie Dawkins for major events on the track cycling calendar.

Dawkins has retired from the sport, deciding the postponement of the Tokyo Olympics by 12 months was a bridge too far.

Webster says it makes for an intriguing next chapter for himself and Mitchell.
