Police are looking forward to building more bridges with the firearms community

The Auditor-General's released his report on the Government scheme - which found police treated gun owners with fairness and empathy.
Assistant Commissioner Tusha Penny says it's great 93 percent of the people who came through their buyback events felt they were treated with respect.
She says everyone should be proud of how great the firearms community has been through this process - and she's looking forward to working with them in the future.
