A group of Mongrel Mob members will appear in the Hastings District Court tomorrow, following numerous search warrants across Hawke's Bay

16 people have been arrested, and nearly one-million-dollars in assets seized.

Police found methamphetamine, cash, cannabis and 10 firearms.

The majority of those arrested were either patched Mongrel Mob members, or their associates... including the leader of a Hawke's Bay chapter.

A house, vehicles, motorbikes and 400-thousand dollars in cash have been seized.

Detective Inspector Mike Foster says the warrants today were related to the recent arrest of three senior Mongrel Mob members in Auckland and Flaxmere.
