Auckland's Mt Eden train station is set to close as City Rail Link construction picks back up

The station won't operate from Saturday July 11 until project completion in 2024.

The adjoining Porters Avenue railway crossing will also close to traffic on Friday May 29.

A free bus service will run between Kingsland and Newmarket to reconnect the public transport route.
