Kiwis need to keep a positive mindset about their finances

Kiwis need to keep a positive mindset about their finances

The Financial Services Council has found by late April, 50 per cent of Kiwis felt Covid-19 has impacted their job security, a jump of more than 15 per cent since March.

51 per cent say their mental health has been affected by money matters.

Commission for Financial Capability spokesman Tom Hartmann says the uncertainty might be the biggest hurdle.

He says in order to stay flexible, a lot of households will need to make a change their financial plans -- but there are a lot of opportunities that come out of every crisis.
