    Kiwis will head into the long weekend with zero new cases of Covid-19


    New Zealand has gone its first full week of no new cases - and there's now only one active case in the entire country.

    Another 446 thousand people have signed up to the NZ Covid Tracer app, an increase of 10 thousand in 24 hours.

    The Ministry of Health is encouraging as many people as possible to download the app, particularly as groups of up to 100 people are now allowed.

    Despite having zero cases, the Ministry continues to advise people to stay home if they're unwell, maintain physical distancing and basic hygiene measures.
