    Five people have been arrested and around three kilograms of cannabis seized during two police operations in Central Otago and Queenstown


    On Wednesday, three people were arrested in Alexandra and hit with a raft of charges, from supply of methamphetamine to selling cannabis to a person under 18.

    Yesterday, up to 60- thousand dollars of cannabis, a large quantity of cash and some LSD was recovered in Queenstown.

    Two foreign nationals are being charged with possession for supply of cannabis.

    Acting Area Manager Detective Senior Sergeant Miriam Chittenden says the drug trade in Central Otago and Queenstown has been significantly disrupted.
