Police want public help to piece together the lead up to a fatal crash near Taradale, in Hawke's Bay

Police want public help to piece together the lead up to a fatal crash near Taradale, in Hawke's Bay

One person died in the single-vehicle collision on Springfield Road, near the Redclyffe Transfer Station, on July 5.

Senior Constable Timothy Rowe says police were alerted to the crash about 11.50pm - but they don't know when it occurred.

He says they want to speak with anyone who travelled along the road on Sunday evening, or who may have seen a silver-coloured Nissan Bluebird in the area.

Anyone with information should call 105 .
