The first America's Cup Challenger to arrive in Auckland is just about ready to sail its first boat on the Waitemata Harbour

The first America's Cup Challenger to arrive in Auckland is just about ready to sail its first boat on the Waitemata Harbour

American's Magic hope to sail Defiant by the end of the week, having effectively been on dry dock since mid March due to Covid-19.

CEO Terry Hutchinson is among a number of team members who will emerge from quarantine on Wednesday.

He says they will finally have enough people on deck to go sailing again and it will be good to see defender Team New Zealand out there too.
