Community transmission is yet to be found - after a South Korean traveller causes a Covid scare

Community transmission is yet to be found - after a South Korean traveller causes a Covid scare

The man flew from New Zealand through Singapore, and returned two positive Covid tests upon arrival in South Korea.

Tests of his close and casual contacts in New Zealand have come up negative.

Director-General of Health Ashley Bloomfield says they're carrying out surveillance of places he's been in the past three weeks.

He says anybody who's been in Queenstown from July 1-4 who's had symptoms should get a test.

The same advice goes for those in South Auckland's Manurewa.
