Wellington has suffered only a small slip in house values, compared to before lockdown

Wellington has suffered only a small slip in house values, compared to before lockdown

The latest OneRoof property report measures market movements since the day before the country went into lockdown.

Most regions show median property values seeing an increase, or no change.

OneRoof editor Owen Vaughan says the greater Wellington region has dipped by 0.1 percent.

However prices in Wellington City have climbed above their March 25 levels.

Vaughan says that's mainly due to a lack of stock and the city being a public service city, with a strong employer.
