Two Hawera police officers facing manslaughter charges are arguing to have their names suppressed.
Three officers were charged after 55 year old Allen Ball died in Police custody last year.
It's alleged the officers neglected the highly intoxicated Ball, who died in his cell hours after his arrest.
Justice Simon France agreed name suppression should continue for one officer due to health reasons, but not for the other two.
The two officers have filed an appeal, which will be argued in court at a later date.
