A Rotorua Man bludgeoned his friend of 20 years to death over a debt

A Rotorua Man bludgeoned his friend of 20 years to death over a debt

Hughie Ransfield plead guilty and was convicted of murder at the High Court in Rotorua last month.

It's been revealed the 59-year-old had asked Maui Haukamau to pay back about three-thousand-500 dollars.

Ransfield told police the victim laughed at him and "signed his own death warrant for "not paying his tick".
