The Finance Minister and Treasury are working on targeted economic support for the Auckland region - in case it stays at Level Three longer than three days

The Finance Minister and Treasury are working on targeted economic support for the Auckland region - in case it stays at Level Three longer than three days

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says she knows many businesses will be anxious.

She's urging them to apply for things like the COVID-19 leave support scheme - which is for people who can't work from home.

she says people can also look at the wage subsidy extension, loans for small business, and income relief for those left jobless by the pandemic.

Ardern says this re-emergence of the virus is why the Government set aside the remaining 14 billion dollars of the COVID fund.
