Auckland's Mayor is urging businesses to act with integrity after reports of price gauging

Auckland's Mayor is urging businesses to act with integrity after reports of price gauging

Auckland has seen a huge increase in demand for groceries, medicines and face masks since Alert Level Three began again.

Phil Goff says he bought a five-pack of face masks for ten dollars - but has heard of places charging up to 30 dollars.

He says it can't be justified because there isn't a shortage of masks - the Government has just put out a million to Countdown, and another three-million to social services.
