The details of the curtain-raiser to Sunday's ANZ netball Premiership final in Dunedin have been confirmed

The details of the curtain-raiser to Sunday's ANZ netball Premiership final in Dunedin have been confirmed

Two mixed teams, involving players from the Southern Steel, their feeder team, some Otago-Southland players and the Southland men's team will square-off in an exhibition game before the decider.

Rolling subs will be in place, goals will be worth two points, with the game to be made up of 10 minute quarters.

Netball New Zealand's head of events Kate Agnew says the idea stemmed from the players.

Steel co-captains Te Huinga Reo Selby-Rickit and Gina Crampton will coach the sides.
