An independent review has warned about the pitfalls of social media after a dairying couple were stripped of their Share Farmers of the Year title

Nick and Rosemarie Bertram lost the national title in July after he posted offensive tweets in 2017.

They were judged to reflect poorly on the Trust for the New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards.
