Business leaders want their voices to be heard at the Cabinet table

Business leaders want their voices to be heard at the Cabinet table

The New Zealand Herald's annual Mood of the Boardroom survey has heard the opinions and concerns of 165 business leaders.

It has business confidence at the lowest it's ever been in the survey's 19-year history.

Executive editor Fran O'Sullivan says a lot of big decisions have been made during the pandemic that have directly affected businesses.

She says that includes the Level Four lockdown, ain which various industries like construction weren't seen as essential.

A livestream of Labour's Grant Robertson and National's Paul Goldsmith debating the survey results will be available on the Herald from 7.40.
