SANZAAR are allowing squads of up to 46 for the competition to ensure there is enough cover already through quarantine measures in case of injuries.
Braydon Ennor will drop out of the current 35 after suffering a knee injury during the North versus South Game.
Coach Ian Foster says once scheduling issues are sorted they can name more players.
Lock Scott Barrett and midfielder Ngani Laumape are both having injuries assessed today to establish their availability.
