The Indycar series defending champion's given Scott Dixon a scare in his pursuit of a sixth title

The Kiwi's finished ninth in in the first of two races at the penultimate event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with his nearest rival Josef Newgarden, claiming the win.
It sees Dixon's lead cut from 72 to 40 points.
But Newgarden feels he still has a long way to go to catch the veteran.
Race two is tomorrow.
