The Sharks are out, losing their elimination final 32-20 to the Raiders in Canberra.
The Sharks had a 14-6 lead at one stage, but a controversial second half try to Jack Wighton saw momentum firmly swing Canberra's way.
Sharks captain Wade Graham rushed out of the line to challenge a penalty decision, but Wighton was allowed to take a quick tap and run 25 metres to score.
Morris says that was a key moment.
Canberra now faces the Roosters next week in a rematch of last year's grand final, while the Storm have a week off after beating Parramatta 36-24.
The Eels await the winner of tonight's South Sydney/Newcastle game.
