Elliot Stables is aiming to raise 30-thousand-dollars for legal costs as it tries to get an injunction.
Luis Cabrera, who owns Besos Latinos in the food court, told the Herald ten of the 12 businesses have been given 30 days to pay arrears.
He says the loss of customers due to Covid-19 means it's becoming cheaper to close than stay open.
Cabrera says they've appealed for a rent reduction to no avail.
Icon group, who is the landlord, did not return contact from the Herald.
