The drug bust was made last year when the drug was found inside the batteries of three electric golf carts.
Customs officers seized some of the meth before replacing it with a harmless substance that led to the arrest of Yu Chiu Tan.
The 40-year-old pleaded guilty to importing the class A drug.
Crown prosecutor Dennis Dow says the imported meth was likely to cause close to 136 million dollars worth of societal harm.
